what this game stores
if you just play
No account, no cookies, no tracking pixels. Your phone keeps a few things for itself: whether the sound is on, which hints you have already seen, and, once you have put a tag on the wall, a random key that lets your runs count. That stays on your device.
what we count
Each page load and each run adds one row: the time, the site you came from if any, the country your connection resolves to, and whether the screen is a phone. No identifier, no IP address, no fingerprint. Two visits from the same person are just two rows, which is why there is no cookie banner.
if you put your tag on the wall
- Your tag. It is shown publicly on the board and on the walls in the game. It does not have to be your name.
- Your runs: the score, how long you lasted, how many caps, and what ended it. For your best run we also keep the swipes, so the run can be played again to check it. A run that does not replay keeps its swipes too, until a person has looked at it.
- Your email, only if you give one. Never shown and never shared. We use it to reach you if you win, and, only if you ticked the box, to tell you when the drop opens.
Your IP address is not stored, here or anywhere else on this site.
who handles it
The game runs on Cloudflare. The board and the counts live in a Cloudflare database. If you ticked the box, your email also goes to our shop’s mailing list, which runs on Shopify. Cloudflare and Shopify act as our processors under data processing agreements. Nothing is passed to advertisers or anyone else.
how long we keep it
If you ticked the box, your email is on our shop’s mailing list and is kept like the rest of it, as the shop’s privacy policy says: until you leave, which is one click in any email we send.
An email given only to win is deleted within 60 days after the board closes, except the winners’ details for as long as it takes to send the caps.
Tags and scores can stay up after the board closes, as a hall of fame, the way the first season’s did. Ask and yours comes down. The counts hold nothing personal.

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email does it: sup@aitohki.com. Tell us your tag so we can find it.
