what this game stores

if you just play

Nothing about you is stored. No account, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels. The game keeps your last name and best score in your own browser so you don't have to type them again, and that never leaves your device.

if you save a score

Saving a score sends three things to our leaderboard:

• The name you typed. It is shown publicly on the board, so pick something you're happy for strangers to read. It does not have to be your real name.
• Your score and how long the run lasted. The time is also what lets us tell a real run from a faked one.
• Your email address, only if you choose to give one. It is never shown on the board and never sent to anyone else. We use it to reach you about your score, for example if it wins something.

Your IP address is not stored.

who handles it

The game runs on Cloudflare Pages and the leaderboard lives in Cloudflare's key-value storage, which is replicated across their network. Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. Nothing is passed to advertisers or any other third party.

how long we keep it

Leaderboard entries delete themselves automatically after 90 days. Ask us sooner and we'll remove yours by hand.

your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email does it: sup@bbae.fi. Say which name is on the board so we can find the right row.
